The indefatigable and inspiring Anne-Marie Elias updated our firm, #PrimeLifePartners’ longevity work. What could not have been planned? Mere minutes before we started Australia’s Treasury released the latest (7th) Intergenerational Report. Thanks to Mark Pesce telegraphing through the main points: Australia is aging; we’re having fewer babies – we’re well below population replacement levels; achieving productivity and growth will require embrace of AI and solid levels of immigration to bolster Australia’s labour force.

The founders’ combination of candour, humour and commitment came with clear themes: develop with input from the wider ecosystem; expect to have your resilience and patience tested; media may be the message, but the media you use has to be fit for purpose for your customer base; tech solutions developed for one specific problem may be adapted to effectively address a different problem or customer segment; and much more.
